Elections were held, likewise, for the three open positions on the Board. Newly elected were: Eileen Guerin, Jeffrey Dato, and John Newton. Ms. Guerin has worked in the industry for over eight years and has served as Data Base’s liaison with national and international disaster recovery associations. She was a founding member of the Greater Philadelphia/New Jersey Chapter of AFCOM International and is active in various aspects of the industry.

Jeffrey Dato has been involved with the Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery industry for nine years in both public and private sectors. He currently is the Assistant Vice President and Manager of the Business Continuity Department for Central Fidelity National Bank located in Richmond, Virginia.

Finally, John Newton, from Toronto, Canada, is a member of the Disaster Recovery Information Exchange (DRIE) and is also a member of the Canadian Centre for Emergency Preparedness on the World Conference on Disaster Management. He has had numerous articles written on DR/EM subjects.
