- by Bob Arnold Data protection and management has become an increasingly large threat to almost all organizations. In this issue of DRJ, we have seven articles addressing different aspects of data and information. Without information, many companies will sit at an idle until it is again available. Whether the data is lost through a desktop crash, a dropped network, an offline mainframe, web pipeline outage, or hundreds of other scenarios, protecting that data must be a priority for any company. Whether it be data replication and mirroring, SAN technology, NAS technology, network backup or high availability, these vendors are the true experts in the area and each offer insightful information and knowledge on their respectvie websites. I have listed below the many vendors in these areas along with their URL for your reference. These are not broken down by category since most of the larger vendors would cross into most categories.
