is Director of marketing at Recovery Point a nationwide provider of integrated business continuity solutions headquartered in Germanton MD. Trained at the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK, Dick spent nearly 30 years at IBM in Europe and the US, holding positions such as Global Marketing Manager for the IBM BCRS unit and Manager of Marketing for IBM Global Services EMEA. Dick was appointed Director of Marketing at Recovery Point in 2008 and is responsible for marketing, strategy and development of new services.
Robert Giffin
(CBCP, CISA) is a Director and co-founder of Avalution Consulting, a firm specializing in business continuity solution design, development, implementation and long-term maintenance. Rob has actively managed business continuity programs and consulted with his business continuity clients for over eight years. Rob focuses exclusively on enterprise risk and business continuity management, specializing in the development of business continuity programs in the manufacturing, healthcare and consumer products industries, as well as in government. In addition to serving as a consultant, Rob is a frequent author and speaker, and serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Disaster Recovery Journal. |
