Embed BC into the strategic focus of your organization.
-
Leverage your BIA to prioritize risk assessments.
-
Protect against pitfalls that can compromise risk management.

In this era of downsizing, or doing more with less, many organizations have reduced or eliminated BC/DR staff and tasked others(who already have a fulltime function) with its ownership. Are you the person who now has the responsibility for business continuity? Are you getting the support you need from senior management? Is your planning in compliance with regulations and best practices? Are you a critical vendor that is being asked for your BCP as part of your customers audit? If you are interested in improving your organizations BCP/DR posture make sure to attend our highly informative one hour webinar.
This seminar will highlight creative ways to:
-
Make your BC program defendable to regulators and/or auditors - know what your regulators and examiners are looking for (including common audit finding)
-
Make sure that your BCP will be useful when you experience an interruption
-
Get management AND business unit buy-in and support
-
Manage your vendors and supply chain
-
Tools to build a program even if BCP is not your full time job
-
Effectively and efficiently demonstrate your BCP capabilities to your customers
-
Test without testing
Just because you do not have the budget does not mean that it can be "swept under the rug". Remember, we are all in this boat together! A small one branch community bank has the same BC regulations and responsibilities as a large Multi-National Bank.

Prepare Like Your Business Depends On It
Businesses around the country have learned the hard way that they can't afford to be unprepared for the worst. In just seconds the data they relied on to do business was gone - wiped out because no one stored it safely offsite.
Consider these facts:
-
A business interruption event can cost as much as $3 million an hour (Source: Aberdeen Group)
-
50% of businesses that lose their data to disaster are out of business in two years (Source: Faulkner Information Services)
-
93% close for good in five years (Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor)
Don’t let this happen to you. The best way to protect your business is with offsite storage for your backup tapes - somewhere out of harm’s way.
