Fall World 2009 Attendees Discovered Solutions for Tough Problems
Tough challenges are everywhere in today’s business continuity world. How can you tackle the problems and find solutions that count? Attendees at Fall World 2009 know the answer. They discovered easy solutions, new methods and technologies during the show, Sept. 13-16 in San Diego, Calif. The three-day conference kicked off with workshops and a welcome reception and continued with general sessions, breakout tracks, hospitalities, an exhibit hall and much more.
Industry experts led the general sessions and covered such diverse topics as avoiding BC program pitfalls, emergency management principals, pandemics, communications and the financial crisis. Attendees left with valuable insight into building a stronger business continuity program and mitigating risks.
Breakout tracks and workshops allowed attendees to focus on subjects of their choice. This customized schedule gave each attendee an opportunity to delve into topics that matter the most for their organization’s needs.
A conference highlight was the Casino Night Hospitality on Monday evening. Gold Sponsor SunGard Availability Services hosted the event. Attendees were able to mingle in a relaxed environment while enjoying food, drinks and a variety of casino games. Attendees made valuable networking contacts during this event, including speakers and vendors who were in attendance.
The exhibit hall was also a popular spot for networking. Attendees were able to visit with vendors and view the latest products and services. Product demonstrations, receptions and refreshment breaks were held in the exhibit hall as well, making it a fun place for everyone to visit.
The information learned at Fall World 2009 will remain beneficial to the attendees and their organizations for years to come. Each attendee left with complete conference material, allowing them to share with team members and build a stronger business continuity program. Attendee comments after the show verified their satisfaction with the show, calling it an extreme success in providing information and networking opportunities.
