You are Invited to Attend an Educational and Exciting Certification Reception!

Do you want to learn more about the future direction of certification programs? Are you interested in mingling with other certified individuals at Fall World 2011? Disaster Recovery Journal has an exciting Certification Reception planned for Sunday, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. onsite at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel (Seabreeze Room).

This fun event is designed for professionals holding any type of certification, including BCI, DRII, ICOR and others. The reception will be held onsite in the Seabreeze Room, making it very convenient to attend after workshops end and before the evening welcome reception begins.

Join industry leaders John Copenhaver, a strategic advisor to BCI, Jim Nelson, Chairperson at ICOR, and Cheyene Haase, with BC Management as they discuss the future of business continuity professional certification. Network with peers to discuss the benefits of certification and the differences in the certification programs currently offered in the industry.

Enjoy fun, food and fellowship as we explore certification options in a relaxed environment at Fall World 2011, the leader in industry conferences.

John is currently Director of Disaster Response and Recovery Services for Worley Parsons, a global engineering firm.  John is most recognized for his role as regional FEMA director under the Clinton administration and his tenure as CEO of Disaster Recovery Institute International.

Jim is the President of Business Continuity Services, Inc., a consulting firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.  Jim earned the MBCP certification from DRI International in 1998 and served as DRI's Lead Instructor from 2002-2005.
Jim serves as professor for Norwich University's Master's of Business Continuity Management program.  He teaches seminars on Business Continuity Management, Enterprise Risk Management, and Developing a Resilient Organization.
Jim also serves as the Business and Relationship Management Consultant to International Association Management, Inc.

Cheyene Haase has been an executive recruiter for 13 years, with 11 of those years specializing in the business continuity field. Cheyene quickly recognized that business continuity was getting lost within the large umbrella of Management Recruiters International. She decided to forge a new company solely dedicated to business continuity and founded BC Management, Inc. in 2000. Cheyene has become an integral part of the business continuity community, previously serving on the board for the Association of Contingency Planners of Los Angeles and Orange County and currently an active professional on the Editorial Advisory Board for Continuity Insights magazine. She was also the recipient of the inaugural ACP Hall of Fame award in 2006 and most recently she was awarded an Honorary MBCI by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) in 2010.
