Disaster Recovery - Key Metrics and Measurements

I was wondering what you measure to assess the health of your Disaster Recovery program?

Some of the measures we've been looking at include:

- Number of exercises in a given year
- Total number of issues vs. number resolved
- Number of certified applicaiton plans

Actually, DRJ mostly is about how to PREVENT or MITIGATE disasters.
Its writers - including some very senior professional risk management practitioners - write about disasters of all types - from a burst pipe to a tsunami - plus - power plant meltdown. Everything within the realm of business continuity (of which disaster recovery is a part) is suitable for DRJ's paper and electronic pages. Editor Jon would be delighted to get well-written copy - he is "jon@drj.com"
