Association of Contingency Planners Announces New
Officers and its 2010 Board of Directors:
National, December 9, 2009 –
On December 6, 2009 at its annual meeting in Tampa, FL, the Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) Board of Directors elected Officers and designated Directors for 2010. The incoming board will include:
Mike Thomson, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer (Houston, TX)
Sue Kerr, Secretary & Board Administrative Officer (Richmond, VA)
David Graves, Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer (Los Angeles, CA)
Brian Strong, Chapter Services Director(Jacksonville, FL)
Ed Goldberg, Education Director (Berlin, CT)
Ginnie Stouffer, Information Director (Wayne, PA)
Michelle Cross, Marketing & Public Relations Director (Boston, MA)
Mike Gifford, Membership Services Director (San Antonio, TX)
Frank Leonetti, Director At-Large (Lumberton Twp, NJ)
Monique Weiland, Director At-Large (Folsom, CA)
The ACP Board intends to fill two remaining vacant Director At-Large positions by appointment prior to the association's National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX on January 15-17, 2010.
The Board also recognized and honored three members who will depart the Board by year end for their past years of service to the Association:
Shirley Runnels, past Chairman & Chief Executive Officer (Irving, TX)
Linda Vos, departing Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer (Morris Plains, NJ)
Laura Mallet, departing Marketing & Public Relations Director (Weston, FL)
At their meeting in Tampa, the ACP Board adopted a revised governance model and Standing Board Committee structure that will be presented to the association chapter presidents and chapter boards at the NLC gathering next month.
