SCHOOL SHOOTING RESPONSE KIT RECIEVES S.W.A.T. ENDORSEMENT

Toledo, Ohio, January 2, 2009 - “The classroom response kit will definitely help law enforcement gain initial intelligence that could resolve a school shooting situation faster." Stated Jason M., a SWAT Team Member and lead instructor for a Virginia based metropolitan SWAT Team.  Jason’s comments came after a presentation of Worldprep’s new Classroom Emergency Response Kit was demonstrated at a large hostage rescue and law enforcement training facility on the east coast.

Worldprep’s Classroom Emergency Response Kit, or CERK, was developed in conjunction with a former military Special Operations member experienced in the various aspects involved with personnel rescue and recovery.  The CERK kit is designed to enable administrators and teachers to communicate with law enforcement and medical staff as well as provide basic life saving first aid during a school shooting situation.  By enabling communication and medical advice until the situation is safe for the entry of professional medical personnel, administrators and teachers not only save lives, but feel a sense of control and empowerment rather than hopelessness.
