Formation of IT Disaster Recovery Steering Committee

An IT DR Steering Committee will be formed and I am looking to create a charter and scope for the group. Is there a standard or an example that could be used as a template? Does anyone have suggestions based on their experiences with forming and / or oversight of this committee? Thank you, Jeff Girard, Disaster Recovery Analyst

Here is the proposed charter and scope for the IT DRSC committee:
Purpose: To provide guidance, support and strategic direction for development and execution of IT Disaster Recovery program

Scope:
o Review and approve DR Policies
o Review dashboard of Business Impact Analysis Summaries and Disaster Recovery expectations / capabilities
o Verify content of Disaster Recovery Plans
o Authorize Disaster Recovery test schedule and resource availability
o Provide coordination support to Emergency Operations Command as a result of disaster recovery declaration

Members:
o IT Operations Infrastructure Managers
o IT Applications Managers
o DR Analyst
