Unplanned DR Test !!!

Hello,

The customer wants to do an "unplanned" DR test. When we say unplanned what they are suggesting is that the customer would look to "pull out" the primary network link in order to initiate a Disaster. This will enable them to understand our preparedness in case of an actual disaster.

This is for a manufacturing industry where the current intention seems to pull out the network cables. If done on a normal working day then the impact could be disastrous but if done on a Sunday or a holiday, though there would be no impact to business but the risk is huge.

I need suggestions and guidance from the seniors and experienced members of the group here to help me identify the risks of doing this and what are the factors / aspects I must focus on.
