The FORUM established to facilitate the exchange and dissemination of information regarding all aspects of contingency planning in both the private and public sectors, including business interruption avoidance, business resumption planning, contingency operations, and disaster recovery planning.

MCPF History

The MidAmerica Contingency Planning Forum was formed in 1994 to serve as a forum to facilitate the exchange and dissemination of information regarding all aspects of contingency planning in both the private and public sectors. This includes:

  • business interruption avoidance
  • business resumption planning
  • contingency operations
  • disaster recovery planning

MCPF offers the novice as well as the expert planner the opportunity to share and broaden their knowledge of contingency planning. The organization aids planning professionals in staying abreast of current industry trends in mitigation, planning and recovery.
The Forum serves as an interface for private and public sector cooperation.
