Established in 1993, The South East Business Recovery Exchange (SEBRE)
is a non profit organization of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
Professionals who are with companies throughout the South Eastern United
States. We meet semiannually in the Spring and again in the Fall to discuss
the latest information in our areas of expertise and to exchange information
freely.
There is no initiation fee or annual fee for SEBRE
membership. But member companies must register for and attend the two annual
meetings each year. Meeting attendance is a reasonable $150.00 for the three
days of meetings and includes breakfast and lunch. Since many of our member
companies are located in the Atlanta area, our fall annual meeting is always
held in Atlanta while the spring meeting is hosted by a member in another city
in the South East.
Membership in SEBRE is limited to
companies with their own business continuity programs. Vendors to the industry
are not eligible for membership. But they are occasionally invited to make
presentations which may be of interest to the membership.
