Friday, Nov. 7, is the article deadline for the Winter 2009 edition. I have several quality articles ready to go but it's always good to have a wide variety of choices.

Practitioners are always encouraged to submit articles on any business continuity/disaster recovery subject at any time. Vendor-submitted articles are also welcome but it may take an issue or two to get published.

Noted consultant John Glenn is our most prolific writer in the magazine ... and probably here at the Web site as well. Our guidelines don't allow publication in back-to-back issues from any individual or company, so John has two or three articles on-deck at all times. If something timely pops up, he'll shoot me an e-mail with a new story to pre-empt his regular six-month cycle.

Fellow consultants Jan Persson, Gregg Jacobsen and Vali Hawkins-Mitchell are also regular contributors. They each average about one article a year but they are also very popular with our readers.
