Attendees Rank DRJ Spring World '13 a Huge Success

Spring World 2013 was a resounding success for attendees and exhibitors! This conference was held March 17 – 20 in Orlando, Florida at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. It attracted hundreds of industry practitioners from around the globe. Each attendee was greeted onsite by DRJ’s management team, ensuring that each attendee had conference materials and their customized agenda.
The three day event was packed with more than 40 sessions, a concurrent exhibit hall, and numerous networking events. Attendees chose the sessions offering the best solutions for their needs, allowing them to return to their organizations armed with new strategies and information.
“We are extremely pleased with the quality of attendees our shows continue to attract,” said Bob Arnold, DRJ president. “This conference was filled with practitioners from a variety of industry sectors. They provided great interaction for our speakers and other attendees.”
Networking events were held throughout the conference, allowing plenty of time for making connections with other attendees, speakers and exhibitors. The exhibit hall was packed with hundreds of service providers, displaying new products and services. Several booths hosted product demonstrations, contests and private hospitalities for the convenience of attendees.
Spring World Gold Sponsor, Forsythe, hosted the Monday Night Hospitality. This fun event featured a Chicago Blues theme, and was a big hit with attendees. The crowds packed the area, enjoying food and live entertainment.
“Forsythe did an excellent job with the Monday Night Hospitality. It was an extremely well-organized event that provided a lot of fun for our attendees. The feedback was very positive from everyone that attended,” said Arnold. “DRJ is extremely fortunate to have such excellent sponsors for our conference.”
Other highlights of the conference included the hands-on workshops held on Sundays and Tuesdays, the Mock Exercise, roundtable discussions and the special session, “Hurricane Sandy: Lessons Learned”, hosted by Regina Phelps and other industry experts.
In addition, Spring World 2013 featured the one-day track for Senior Advanced Practitioners. This special track let the most advanced planners in the industry interact with C-level personnel as well as other advanced practitioners.
Attendees received numerous meals and snacks during the conference, and also were able to enjoy the beautiful facilities at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. The location provided the perfect mix of business environment and relaxing atmosphere.

DRJ is now preparing for their next conference, Fall World 2013, which will be held Sept. 22-25, 2013 in San Diego.
