This week will see the Government meeting with food industry chiefs for the second time in recent weeks as the horse meat saga continues with Tesco announcing that their ‘Everyday Value Spaghetti Bolognese’ range has been withdrawn from sale when it was discovered that it contains up to 60% horse meat. This is of course on the back of the news that Findus range of beef lasagne contained 100% horse meat.
