Description: This position prepares the organization by developing enterprise wide business continuity and crisis management programs focusing on associate safety, critical business processes, asset protection, the JM Family culture and associate services. Responsibilities will focus on crisis prevention, mitigation and response plans with various JMFE associates and departments.
Position Responsibilities:
• Build relationships and communicate well across all levels of the organization to understand JM crisis risks, critical business processes and enterprise services in response to a crisis
• Thoroughly understand all of JM Family’s crisis response teams, services, tools and culture to coordinate a corporate wide crisis response from the Emergency Operations Center
• Communicate to the top levels of the organization verbally and in writing
• Deliver presentations to educate associates and obtain new initiatives
• Utilize reference materials and other resources to obtain objectives
• Coordinate the movement and use of 20 enterprise services which includes corporate jets and on-site medical staff
• Merge and manipulate data used for communication and repository tools
• Manage vendors relationships for related tools and services
Requirements
• 4 year college degree required
• 4 + years experience in business continuity and critical incident planning
• Ability to deal with all levels of management and external stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Sharepoint
• Experience creating hurricane weather and response reports
• Knowledge of related regulatory compliance
• Business Continuity certifications are preferred
