Description: The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA), located in Harrisburg, PA has an immediate opening for a Sr. Enterprise Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Analyst. This position supports the strategic development and is accountable for the implementation of the Enterprise Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Program. This position will promote business continuity theory decisions and strategy. This role creates the guidelines for disaster recovery planning, business impact analyses, coordinating plan development and outage testing. Also included is the working with all Infrastructure teams to determine hardware, software and services requirements for the Enterprise Business Continuity Plan (EBCP).
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years’ experience in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, an equivalent combination of skills, knowledge and ability may be considered. Certification in Business Continuity required must be obtained within the next 12 months of hire.
• Track record of adapting to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities, promptly and efficiently.
• Proven ability to communication and influence with individuals, including the ability to influence those whom are not direct reports across a broad spectrum of IT, business disciplines, end users, upper management and externally.
• Substantiated ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity.
• Demonstrated ability to defuse tension among a project team when needed.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. Proven presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Travel – Ability to independently drive to remote office sites and/or recovery sites.
