Do Our Personal Preparations for Year 2000 Reflect Our Professional Approach?

By the time you read this, most of the organizations we work for will be as ready as they reasonably can be to deal with computer and infrastructure failures associated with the Year 2000. We shall have looked the Millennium Beast in the eye and stared it down - at least from the corporate perspective. So perhaps now is a good time for each of us to look at our personal preparations and see what this can tell us about ourselves, and what insights we can draw from such an exercise.After all, we are the professional continuity / emergency planners countless organizations have turned to for guidance. So, do we practice at home what we preach in the office and to clients? Surely this thought has arisen for all of us, as the Millennium Bug certainly has the potential to hit us both at home and at the workplace. Thus
