More than 1,200 attendees joined expert speakers and exhibitors for a total of 1,600 people at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina for the Disaster Recovery Journal Fall World 2005 conference Sept. 18-21. “This is our 33rd conference, but the first time we have ever had to close registration due to the overwhelming success of the show,” said Bob Arnold, vice president of Disaster Recovery Journal. “This was a great conference by all accounts.” Conference sessions featured a wide variety of topics, coinciding with industry trends and the latest disastrous events like Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. “We have to thank the many wonderful speakers, sponsors and exhibitors that participated in the show,” said Arnold. “Contributions from the many speakers as well as our sponsors, such as Forsythe, helped us deliver an excellent leaning experience in a very enjoyable atmosphere.”
