A new handbook on Cyber Risk Oversight, designed to provide corporate directors with expert guidelines to improve their cybersecurity oversight, has been published by the American International Group (AIG), the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and the Internet Security Alliance (ISA). The handbook is the latest issue in NACD’s Director’s Handbook Series. The cyber threat is very real concern for business continuity professionals as identified in the 2014 BCI Horizon Scan Report with cyber attack and data breach featuring second and third respectively as the biggest threats to organizations. Seventy-three percent of respondents to the survey expressed either concern or extreme concern at both these threats materializing.
