Wednesday, August 22, 2012 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT

During this webinar, Anita Bateman from CPS Energy will discuss how CPS Energy, the nation's largest municipally owned energy utility, is leveraging Send Word Now's alerting capabilities in innovative ways to communicate with customers and employees. After an initial implementation in 2011, the CPS Energy team is moving forward to the next phase, implementing employee alerts and beginning the process of implementing Spanish language alerts and customer-specific power outage alerts. Anita will also discuss their most recent customer alert test and lessons learned. CPS Energy is the nation's largest municipally owned energy utility, providing both electric and natural gas service in San Antonio, Texas. CPS Energy serves over 717,000 electric and 325,000 gas customers in and around the 7th largest city in the nation and over a 1,514 square mile service area.
