Make the Right Choice Between Hybrid and All-in-One DRaaS Providers

Organizations, regardless of their size, finally have access to viable disaster-recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS) solutions from multiple providers. Further, organizations may obtain DRaaS solutions to equip them to perform recoveries on-premises or in a provider’s cloud. This situation represents, perhaps, a first in the history of DR. No longer do organizations have any excuses for not having a viable DR plan in place. The availability of these DRaaS offerings changes the conversation around DR. Organizations no longer should ask, “Does a DRaaS offering exist that meets my needs?” Rather, they should ask, “What factors do I need to examine to identify the best DRaaS solution for my environment?” Organizations should begin by determining what type of DRaaS solution best meets their needs. This starts by ascertaining the category of provider they need to deliver the DRaaS solution.
