Disaster Prevention Through Remote Monitoring

There is no question that companies must have disaster recovery plans in place. It is, however, equally important to think in terms of disaster prevention, which is where remote monitoring plays a key role. Remote monitoring of critical assets by the telecommunications industry has, for example, been practiced for many years allowing them to achieve more than 99.999 percent uptime on their systems.
