Tips for Securing Data in the Cloud

New research from ITIC has found that each hour of IT infrastructure downtime can cost businesses between $100,000 and $300,000. With the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) 2017 predictions for an above average hurricane season turning to be true, organizations need IT disaster recovery plans that get them up and running as quickly as possible. And it’s not just weather that causes costly downtime. This spring, British Airways experienced “a major IT system failure” resulting in severe flight delays for several days. For prudent organizations, there is no time like the present to evaluate their data protection and recovery strategies.
